Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act requires the Transportation Security Administration along with all Federal agencies to make electronic and information technology accessible to people with disabilities. We are constantly pursuing compliance with Section 508 specifications as set forth by the Federal government. Federal websites, such as ours, provided by the Transportation Security Administration, are subject to regulations requiring self-enfo​rcement of Section 508 compliance.

 

EXIS includes several features designed to improve accessibility, such as "alt tags", which aid users who listen to the content of the site by using a screen reader, rather than reading the site.
