TSA is pleased to present the 2020 National Strategy for Transportation Security.  This report is a forward-looking, risk-based strategy designed to protect the Nation’s transportation systems from attack or disruption by terrorists or other hostile forces over the period spanning years 2020-2025.  The Strategy was prepared pursuant to title 49 of the United States Code, section 114(s), which requires a biennial update.
